When the government collapsed fifty years ago, the United States went into chaos, some English scientists created the perfect solution. They inject certain genes into a growing fetus, genes that are specifically made for certain jobs, making the perfect police officer, counselor, soldier, or in Brooklyn Hyde's case, survivalist. These GC's (Genetically Created) are supposed to just go with what they know, do what they were made for, but Brooklyn doubts things. Doubts what she's made for, what others are made for, doubt the Presidents - the very English scientists who started it all - and their methods. And doubt in this New World, is very dangerous.
