Arya had left a mountain of death and bodies in her wake on her journey to become the Lord's personal assassin. It didn't matter that she was haunted by the faces of the innocent lives she had taken, or that she resented working for the very people that had destroyed her home and murdered her people. It all boiled down to survival. Except when Lord Vega gives her an especially daunting task, and she meets the mysterious Cameron Murphy. He throws a wrench in everything she's ever done, and maybe, just maybe, there is more to life than survival...
