When FWhip started at Jade Mountain Academy, he'd never exactly expected to be chasing a friend (not really, but you know) turned madman across the continent with most of his winglet, and yet here he was. After Joel snapped- presumably from an overuse of animus magic- and vanished after killing a teacher and declaring that he was going to make himself the only living animus dragon, his friend Jimmy set off after him to stop him, and of course Lizzie and Gem dragged FWhip and most of their winglet along to track Joel down and stop him before he does any more bad stuff. (THIS STORY IS UNDER REWRITE) When an odd blue axolotl hybrid appears in Mayor Lizzie's city and claims to be ancient royalty, it's a random event. When an injured man collapses outside Scott's door and says he's an elf king and a champion of a god, it's a coincidence. When a blood splattered man walks up to Sausage and asks him for directions to an empire long gone, it's a confused refugee. But when they all look identical, and it all happens at the same time? This is no coincidence, no freak accident. Something is going on. What do you do when trying to kill a demon throws you a thousand years into the future, maybe with or maybe without said demon?
