Inspired by his niece's gold and silver tresses, Fëanor makes his momentous decision to craft his greatest and most terrible creation: the Silmarils. And when he does, Altáriel will be confronted with a shadow of evil she's never known before - and wrestle with its implications for her people, her family, and herself.

You are a Therapist in the halls of Mandos, helping the souls who are a bit more.. broken. But when the sons of Feanor waltz into the picture, everything gets turned on it's head. Maybe it's time to Admit who actually needs the therapy....

Short stories based on the Silmarillion and the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. The dead elves of Middle-Earth think about their lost lives in the Halls of Mandos. I'm trying to write a "diary" to all elves who'd been mentioned by name in the Silmarillion or in Lord of the Rings (and who'd died).

Kanafinwe Makalaure Feanorion awoke thinking that he was finally pardoned by the Valar and that he would finally be able to sail back home. When it becomes evident that he isn't in the right dimension however, he ends up having to stay in a curious school filled with growing maiar, including one Harry Potter. Set during the Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and possibly Order of the Phoenix. May change drastically in the future. I do NOT own anything from Harry Potter or The Silmarillion, those credits belong to their rightful authors. The only thing that's mine is the plot of this fanfiction. This tale was the winner of the "Runes of Daeron" Contest, made by the Conselho Branco - Sociedade Tolkien - a non-profit brazilian organization created to study and publicize the fantastic work of writer, professor and philologist J.R.R. Tolkien. It was published in issue 22 of the Council's newsletter, "O Palantir", in 2012. As a big fan, it's an honor for me. The tale accompanies the conversations of a Balrog with the elf Fëanor. In the mythology created by Tolkien in The Silmarillion, Fëanor rebelled against the gods, and after his death his cursed spirit retreated into the halls of Mandos and never returned to his relatives. The Balrog (also known as Valarauko) decides to tell his story, from the origin of the world, to the elf, because he thinks it will make a difference in his life.

A story in which all seven sons of Feanor after death come to another world, our world, and happen to appear in Alyria's (later known as Elamirie/Ranger name, and her real name will be revealed in a future) and her family lifes. As their situation progresses, the sons of Feanor have to discover a way back to their world and stay hidden through the next ages of Arda. What troubles will the sons of Feanor bring to Alyria and her family? What secrets will be uncovered?

Thanyewen is the last of her line, the House of the Dispossessed. When she is summoned to Rivendell, a place where she is both hated and feared, she knows that a storm is nigh. Heeding the summons, she finds herself at a Council and joining a Fellowship. Her task is to protect the Ringbearer, but how is she to do that when the entire Fellowship, including the hobbits, knows who she is, what her father created, and the terror her brothers unleashed? Thanywen must face her past and persuade the Fellowship that she is not evil. To her, the task is more daunting than facing down a Balrog... which she has done.
