Gaara silently watched them together, an ugly feeling curling in his stomach. Sasuke and Naruto. What a strange sight. Of all the bright people who would compliment Naruto's brilliance, he chooses one whose gloom drags him down. Gaara silently took a sip of his sake as the couple made themself comfortable at the bar. He couldn't help but belatedly think that he would be better for Naruto. At the very least, he'd treat him better.
