A short story submitted to a contest I did. It gets a little bit graphic towards the end, but nonetheless its a fairly decent dystopian story, although it is a tad bit short.

Maximilian Calypse was kidnapped several months ago. Riftan, Ruth, and the Remdragon Knights eventually discover where she was taken but when they arrive to rescue her the woman they find is not Maxi, not exactly. What happened to her? Why is she acting like she does not know them? She may be alive but are they too late to save her? *Warning: foul language, some violence (memories of the Duke punishing Maxi as a child) some book 1 and 2 spoilers.
