One of Lou's potions go wrong. Somebody slips Grover meat.

At the end of the fifth book when the war with Gaea is finally over, Percy awakens in a hospital room, surrounded by loved ones. He's told that he's been in a deep coma since he was twelve, and realizes that his entire demigodly life was entirely made up in his subconscious, and worst of all-Annabeth isn't real. This is a short Percy Jackson fan-fiction. As in all fan-fictions, characters etc belong to the author (in this case, Rick Riordan). In this story, Percy Jackson is sixteen years old. It is told in multiple POVs, though mostly that of his girlfriend Annabeth Chase, occasionally his stepfather Paul Blofis, and Percy's perspective will also weigh in during multiple chapters, though unlike in PJO, not the entire chapter. I got a request on Wattpad to make this book, so I thought why not? I've been a bit bored lately so I decided to take up the offer. Anywho, this book will be people learning about Percy's past.

Percy is the new kid at Goode High School. Percy is abused by his step-father, Gabe Ugliano. What happens when he bumps into Annabeth Chase on his first day, and quickly becomes friends with her and her friends? Will they find out his secret and help him before it's to late?

I wrote this chapter for another author after they asked if anyone would be willing to write the next chapter for them. Because of some technical difficulties, the only way to make sure the author got the chapter was by making a "book" out of it, and publishing it.
