Kehaulani (pronounced keh-HOU-lah-nee origin Hawaiian meaning heavenly dew-cool breeze from heaven) came on the prisoner transport with Michael no one knew why she was there or what her crime was.... she became instant friends with Michael during Burnham's 6 months in prison and soon meets a certain Kelpien that makes her feel.... odd.... in a way that she has never felt before and the same went for him.... Saru was frightened of these brand new emotions but he still wanted to experience them.... with her.... in every way possible.... though it may be possible that it took him to long to figure out that she wanted the same.... he thought that she would have quite possibly chosen Lorca or Tyler for in his mind they would ABSOLUTELY be a better choice for such a celestially ethereal beauty such as herself

Everyone knew about (Y/N)'s professional relationship with Lt. commander Paul Stamets but what the rest of the crew didn't know was the fact that it was something more. Gabriel Lorca's thoughts of Michael Burnham, his love for her, his obsession, their fate. Sadly, Gabriel's faith in destiny would not help him this time. He should have known Phillipa would get between them until the end. Based on episodes 10, 11, 12 and 13 of ST Discovery, as cannon compliant as I could make it.
