the title means "between two streams" a short poem in irish about being in between two life paths (or in this case "streams" - that's what sruth can mean), family and making decisions. I'll add a translation soon and feel free to correct my spelling/grammar

Here are some random poems I've done in my spare time, in the Irish language. I'm using poetry as a means to practise my Irish so don't judge them too harshly.

Avarice Academy is one of the best, most prestigious and most expensive schools in the entire world- And when Robin and her twin brother Peregrine are offered scholarships, they can't wait to get on the plane and rush off to Ireland to start. Though, not everything seems to be so perfect when they get there and meet their roommate; Oliver Roscoe- A condescending, seemingly emotionless, ginger-haired teenage boy with an accent and a chip in his shoulder. Unbeknownst to them at first, they just entered a world where arranged marriages are the norm, and family rivalries end in bloodshed. As they navigate this new social construct, they both make new friends and new enemies. Will they realise that a war of power and pride is about to start before it's too late to return to their normal lives? Or will they stand their ground even though they're nameless- And therefore powerless, in a world based on a hierarchy of surnames called the 'Twelve Descendants.' But if they truly were so out of place, how were they the catalyst to set it all off? "Death before dishonour. From power your name has risen. With your crown they worship your ground, If you use you're voice they will listen. But if you leave, you will not be found, If you cut all ties they disappear forever. It is your most important decision." ||SLOW BUILD||

This is simply a collection of people i met who were weirdos. They could be in my class or just my parents' friends' children. Or just random people I've seen. You may lose your sanity, your brain cells or even worse - your faith in humanity after reading this unfiltered, twisted and out of control collection with a completely random order. Hope you enjoy ☺️

Ireland can be confusing so I thought I'd explain some of it. If you comment any questions I'll do my best to answer.

He had everything he had ever wanted. He had power, he had armies and he had the fear of anyone who even thought of opposing him. After slaying his final enemy, he took over Ireland and tried to retain their power, but failed miserably. The power rested in the claws of a girl. A girl he greatly underestimated. ~ Maeve Moore, the last survivor of her pack, has been on the run, searching for sanctuary. In her search for safety, she uncovers the truth about a prophecy. And we all know how prophecies work.

Title means "The Man Luke" in Irish. A literal translation is in the second (final) part. Poetry sounds better to me in Irish sometimes. Feel free to correct my spelling and have a look at my other poem as gaeilge

Jane Joyce is a "serious vocalist" who's far too busy stressing about her choir dreams and her ex-boyfriend to have time to worry about the chaotic new girl who looks like she might just about ruin Jane's one chance to show her tiny little town just how far she'll go to surpass expectations. *** Jane Joyce is anal when it comes to music - specifically, vocal music. Her technique is flawless, she knows her theory and her composers, and she knows how to make things work. She's a naturally talented musician, and years of hard work have made her somewhat exceptional. Kierra Hyde, on the other hand, likes to sing because it's always felt natural to her. It's nice to have something she's good at - and Kierra? Kierra is amazing, regardless of how little she appears to care or how her vowel placement is a little too Idina Menzel at times. The both of them are too talented for their own good. When the two collide their school's vocal jazz choir, they have competition for the first time. Things aren't looking great - Jane hates Kierra's chaos; Kierra seems to hate Jane's lust for perfection. But when Jane is to perform an original composition at their school's winter choir concert, for better or worse, there's only one person she's confident in the ability of: Kierra.
