They were both shot in the head and rear. Their bodies were dumped along the funeral trail for the services that day, although Arthur Sr. was never connected to the murders. His wife, as much as she wanted to help her husband leave the mob, supported him endlessly until her last dying breath. His wife was later murdered for her connection to the mob-Their son is Devin Calhoun, a man linked with the Mob, even though it's all he can do to get out of it. Devin Calhoun doesn't lie to anyone. Sure, he makes up an alias every now and then or creates an alibi to vouch for when he was somewhere he shouldn't have been, but he doesn't lie... Until he meets the one girl he can't lie to. Her name is Ayleigh Cochran, a young woman who works at the local elementary school, waiting for the Romeo to her Juliet. When they cross paths one day after school is released, it seems they can't stop seeing one another.

Poems about the mountains of Scotland and their enduring magnetism. For the uninitiated, Scotland's mountains are grouped by height, those above 3000ft being named The Munros. There are 282 of these, so climbing them all is a suitably challenging ambition. My poems are only about the ones I have climbed, and will include some lower, and equally worthy Scottish mountains too.

Within the Realm of R'adania, no one is truly safe... Many centuries ago, legends say that the Kingdom of Caonach was blessed by the Deities of the Otherworld, causing the two realms to live in harmony with one-another. Within this time of peace, an era of Technology and Magick was created that was thought to only be tangible within folklore. Upon hearing the talk of such power, however, the corrupt rival kingdom of Klaasile sought to obtain the power kept within the walls of Caonach, communing with the darker forces that resided within the deeper wood of the Otherworld in order to try and enslave the Coanach's Kingdom and her people. Thus, the War of Embers had begun. In order to have an upper-hand within the war, a secret society labeled the Court of Embers was created, comprised of a group of the most elite soldiers within Caonach, thought to have the power to commune directly with the Deities themselves. Many years passed and at an empasse, the two Kingdoms finally came to a truce, agreeing that the Gateway to the Otherworld would be sealed. Such choices forever trapped both the Malevolent and Benevolent spirits back into the realm they belong to. With no purpose left, the Keepers of Ash vanished from history, never to be heard from again from civilization. A hundred years have passed since the end of the War. When infamous twenty-one year old criminal Aadya Byrne runs away from her hometown in fear of being caught by the authorities, she discovers that the evils that once dwelled within the wood from the Otherworld are present once more, seeking to finish what they once started centuries ago. With the help of Laeth, the troubled leader of the lost Keepers of Ash, the two seek to establish the Court of Cinders once more, before it's too late.
