He only heard a faint bump when he should have heard something a lot louder. Merlin's fears from the previous day came true as he sat there in bed trying to process it. The ringing had gone, but he still couldn't hear anything. OR Merlin gets injured in a fight and is rendered temporarily deaf. He doesn't want Arthur to find out, but he does anyway. Angst and hurt/comfort ahead.

Arthur Pendragon, Merlin, Guinevere, Mordred, Gwaine, Lancelot, Percival, Elyan, and Leon are all brought to a cabin to watch the past and their futures, which are shown to them by a strange girl. This girl will look very familiar and her parents are quite the shocking pair. Lancelot is alive and Mordred is good, not evil. I don't own Merlin, only my storyline and Eleanor, my OC.

I've been watching Merlin again and I've decided to write some one shots, some might have two parts.

The princess of a fairly new kingdom, Meleorn, visits Camelot to pay respect to the deceased king Uther. Princess Eleanor decided to stay for a while and in this time she finds more then what she intended.

Set in Season 1, sometime before The Beginning of the End, so he doesn't know he is Emrys yet, but Merlin has been Arthur's manservant for a while. (I don't own Merlin or the characters, just loved the show)

Shortly after Grima's defeat, Chrom receives a letter from the Queen Hinoka of Hoshido. She requests assistance in freeing her county from the looming shadow of Nohr's conquest. A young Sorcerer infiltrates Camelot in the middle of the feast for Morgana's birthday and attempts to kill Arthur with a deadly curse. When Merlin jumps in front of him to take the curse himself, he finds himself transformed into a bird. Cursed to be a Bluejay until Midnight every day, Merlin has until the next full moon to find a way to break the curse or remain a bird forever. Arthur, Gaius, Morgana and Gwen all band together to try and find a way to save him.

In a world where Uther Pendragon isn't completely oblivious, he begins to notice some of the strange occurrences around his son Arthur. To Uther's horror he starts to believe that due to the not-so-natural circumstances of his birth, Arthur Pendragon might have magic. Once Arthur finds out about his father suspicion, he confides in his manservant Merlin, who is now freaking out about someone finding out that he is the one with magic and not Arthur. It doesn't take long before Morgana hears of the speculations and stands up for Arthur by outing her own magical abilites. So what is Uther supposed to do now, when both his children supposedly possess the very thing he hates and has killed so many people for?
