Dr. Jema Galanza, a surgeon has been accepted in one of the most famous hospitals in the country - St. Paul Medical Center. With full of hopes in fulfilling her dreams and calling to serve others, she embarked to a new journey away from her family. Things started to fall into their right places until she met another surgeon who made her fall in love for the first time. Deanna Wong is Chief Geologist of the Exploration Team working for a partnership of two companies one foreign and the other locally owned forged for gold mining operation in the Dinagat Islands in Surigao. Jema on the other hand is a beautiful barrio lass, daughter of the fierce leader whose community and farmlands will be dislocated and heavily destroyed by the mining operations. Find out if their love for each other can find an acceptable compromise between their conflicting interests.

Deanna Wong is a junior photographer from Ateneo De Manila University. Aside from being known as an astonishing street photographer, she usually covers UAAP athletes also for media corporations. One of the biggest fields right now is the UAAP Women's Volleyball Team. Jema Galanza is one of the rising stars of UAAP WVT from Adamson University. Many has seen her improve her games over the years which resulted to a growing fandom.

Professional volleyball player Jema Galanza meets her teams number 1 fan, Deanna Wong, when they have an encounter one day in the arena bathroom. Ever since then, Jema and Deanna have created a bond that is unbreakable. That is, only until Deanna has to go back home. Will distance be a factor in their budding relationship?
