Saint Aschwin, otherwise nicknamed by his peers as "Knight of Galatine", travels to Kuoh, Japan in order to assist "rookie" exorcists in retrieving fragments of Excalibur. Believing to be a simple mission that is simply not for rookies, Aschwin dons his armor and equips his blade to be of service to his God. Little does he know many surprises are in store for him.
