Katniss and Prim are the Everdeen twins. When Prim decides to run away at age 11, she leaves Katniss to deal with the reapings herself. Katniss gets reaped and wins the 73rd Annual Hunger Games. (Yes, I know it was the 74th, but I changed it. You'll see why if you read) Katniss and Peeta mentor the 74th Games. The quarter quell is next. Find out what happens now. This is my first fanfic and I'm really nervous to see what people think of my writing. But really hope you enjoy it. There are some SPOILERS don't say I didn't warn you! Most characters belong to Suzanne Collins. Some I'm making up myself.

Katniss' older sister, Adriana, is picked for the games by president Snow for the quarter quell as all relatives of victors will have to be entered into Effies glass ball this year. But Gale is Peetas cousin so he volenteers for Peetas sibling. Both Gale and Adriana must fight to the death if they want to see their family again. Only one can suvive and the gamemakers wont make the same mistake again...

I'm 14 now, the games still haunt my nightmares. The haunt Haymitch's to, he still sleeps with a knife. I hate having to mentor the tributes, it's not that they don't take me seriously it's just that the 97.8 percent of me knows there gonna die. The 3.2 percent believes that they can win. But they never do. I got Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark this year, not to bad. Iv'e seen them around District 12. I like watching Peeta decorate the cakes, and I always see Katniss with her sister Prim at the Hob, and occasionally looking at the cakes in the bakery. I couldn't imagine Prim going into the Hunger Games, in school she's so quiet and nice. Anyway, I couldn't believe I was going to have to mentor both of them, Haymitch would probably give them some advice in the rare moments he's sober. There both fighters I'll give them that, but it all comes down in one place. The arena.

Peeta know that it has something to do with the business trip to the Capitol, that his father send him on the year before, because he fell in love with a beautiful grey eyed woman there. He wanted to marry her, but she turned him down everytime. Peeta soon finds out that he has a 2 weeks old child with her, but she wants to adopt it away, so Peeta does the only thing he can think of.
