In the quiet ruins of post-war District 12, Peeta struggles to separate real memories from the lies the Capitol planted his mind. Katniss is drowning in grief and guilt of her own. Told from Peeta's POV, this fic follows them as they relearn what's real and what isn't-through flashbacks. I published/wrote the entirety of it in only six months, (originally released on AO3 & ff.net) but I wanted to make it the best that it could be, so I underwent a huge editing process. It's now finished! Nothing has changed majorly, mostly grammatical fixes and adding more detail, making it almost 5000 words longer.
