Gale has volunteered for Peeta Mellark to compete in the 74th annual Hunger Games with Katniss Everdeen after she volunteered for her sister. Katniss is anything except happy about it due to the concern she has for her family left alone at home. Will she be able to abide this and work with him in the games, or will she leave him and fight alone? Does Gale feel something more than best friends for Katniss? Does she feel something more for him? To Katniss, it doesn't matter anymore under their circumstances, but Gale might think a little bit differently . . .

What if peeta is killed in the first games and Katniss comes home to Gale? Will things be the same between them? Will they finally get together? I DONT OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS! They all belong to the wonderful Suzanne Collins!

What if the Hunger Games switched between Gale, Katniss, and Peeta's points of view? What if Gale found out about Coin's plan to kill Prim? What if Katniss realized she loved Gale, but it was too late? What if someone hijacked Peeta again, but for different reasons? All these questions and more will be answered in this alternative ending for Mockingjay. This is an everthorne story, so please only read this if you're on team Gale. For those of you who didn't love the ending of the wonderful Mockingjay movies, this is for you. Take an adventure for what should have happened, starting with the more deserving of Katniss' s affection- Gale....Galeniss. Will he be enough for the Girl on Fire? Maybe....maybe not perhaps adding a vampire into the mix. Read read read, and vote please.

Katniss Everdeen, Clove Kentwell, Glimmer Belcourt, Johanna Mason, Finch Crossley, Madge Undersee, Delly Cartwright and Annie Cresta are starting high school. They're going headfirst into new friendships, new boys, and a lot of new drama. But at least they have each other, right? Panem High School in Savannah, Georgia is famous for its wide range of electives, its beautiful campus and its hilarious variety of education quality (thanks most to a brutally vicious combat instructor and consistently drunk math teacher). It's a school that has taught many generations of students, successful and otherwise, and it's a school that is going flip the lives of these kids upside down. Censor info: language.

Gale isn't sure what to do Katniss survived the hunger game, but that isn't what he's worried about the price of her surviving is that she has to pretend she's in love with a boy she barely knows, and Gale knows one thing for sure after she held up those berries the capitol may see it as an act of undying love, but gale knows better it was an act of resistance, and he knows snow saw it too. Gale WILL protect Katniss even if he has to drag her as far away from district 12 as possible because he knows with all his heart he wouldn't be able to live without her. The real question is however can she live without him? I will not be following the whole story line, and this will be much different from the hunger games books.
