Wales in the 19th century

Gales and Masters are like puzzle pieces. Certain ones fit together and others don't. Gales are artificial beings created to serve those who have special powers and their main goal is to protect their Masters. Masters are humans who were born with the abilities to connect to Gales. They are looked up to as a higher being and protect the empire. Lydia Wysteria just happens to be a Master, but she is different. Unusual if you want to say. Zachary is Lydia's Gale. He was different as well. Found abandoned and with a past that he doesn't remember. Compatible and willing to put their lives in each other's hands, both hold a secret that keeps their true feelings in.

It has been a year since Katniss and Peeta have died during the rebellion. Now the Hunger Games are back, with a new rule. Everybody is forced to enter their name, regardless of their age. When Gale is picked as a tribute, he is sure that he is being sent to his death like his best friend before him, but what he finds is shocking, and he is forced to team up with mysterious, dangerous people.
