A mysterious alien in human form called 'the Doctor' travels through time and space in his spaceship 'the Tardis'. It stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. In this process, he explores different life forms, can influence events in the past, and meets curious characters. So that he doesn't feel too lonely as the last of his kind, he regularly invites various companions onto his spaceship to travel on with him. But he also has enemies who occasionally cross his path. He has a way to cheat death, called regeneration. When he crashes into the backyard of two girls, he doesn't know what waits for him. The two girls will wait for him for fourteen years and then travel with him through time and space. They will find incredible adventures, meet famous people, fascinating monsters, and more. Age 26 with an uncertain future, Marlene wasn't sure what was going to happen with the rest of her life, she certainly wasn't expecting this. Katherine the Time Lord died on Satalite 5 in a battle between Humans and Daleks. The Daleks shot her down before she could regenerate, so she was properly dead. That's why she couldn't explain why she suddenly woke up, along with her equally dead human friend Captain Jack Harkness, and regenerated in the middle of a corridor. And also why the Doctor had broken his promise to never leave her behind. She suspected he had gone back to Earth to get Rose, so she hitched a ride with Captain Jack's Vortex manipulator and headed back to London. Too far back. She found the Doctor on the verge of his regeneration...only not the one that she had left behind. First she accidentally ran away...now she's accidentally skipped a Doctor. What's next?
