Aezendel: Rise of the Swordsaint had been a popular game for years, its world rich with story. Anyone who knew of it considered it a pretty amazing game. But for the inhabitants of Aezendel? It had never been a game. It was their reality. Marquess Ravencourt was a vicious and cold villain that interfered with the player around the 2nd Act of the game... but what if an external outlier changed the flow of the story completely? Moving around as they pleased, claiming to be the protagonist of this world? The story unfolds in ways it shouldn't have previously, and an encounter between two strangers will cause a wave big enough to disrupt the entire Empire of Aezendel.

Humanity faces complete annihilation after nukes are launched all over the world at the end of WW3. A diety intervenes moments before the bombs explode, preventing the destruction of all life remaining on Earth. This action isn't without a price though, as the diety gives humanity a chance to survive by placing them in a trial of its' own making to prove their worthiness. Thus beginning the Era of Summoning, and everything humanity knew is turned on its' head. Suddenly the world revolves around summons being used to fight monsters hellbent on wiping out humanity. "Will humanity band together to become stronger and fight off the monster hordes, or will they remain as they were and continue on the path they were previously set on and bring about the complete annihilation of their race?"

Eric finds a system that can summon 'people' who can cultivate but how far will he go when he can't cultivate. This is my second time writing a novel. I hope you like it. And let's talk about me making promises-because that's going great. This little girl hands me a music box, looks me dead in the eyes, and asks me to find her parents. And me? Being the genius that I am, I said, "Sure, kid, I'll give it a shot." Idiot. Why not promise to knit a scarf for every werewolf in Yharnam while I'm at it? Oh, and Sapphire? She's got secrets. Big ones. You know, the kind that could either save the day or end it in a flaming dumpster fire. No pressure there. Meanwhile, I've got my own problems, like keeping the blood from whispering sweet, murderous nothings into my brain. Here's the thing: Yharnam doesn't do heroes. It chews them up and spits them out like last week's leftovers. And me? I'm not even in the running for "mediocre antihero of the month." But promises?
