Gamer Epic is a poem in ten parts. It is a narrative commentary on video games. The poem looks at video gaming from its early start to its possible future. The poem as told by the narrator is about an isolated individual who plays video games to escape society and has found a place to fit in. Unfortunately, the narrator must work for a living to support their video gaming habit. The story ends with a poem about a fictional character who finds a way to escape the material world grind and live playing video games.

Yumi (Kim Go-eun) is an ordinary office worker. The story frequently switches setting between Yumi's real life and inside her mind where 'cells' represent each of her emotions and drives. Her love cells are in state of coma after a failed relationship. The series will trace her growth and change as her brain cells wake up the love cells. Game developer Ku Woong (Ahn Bo-hyun), and her co-workers Ruby (Lee Yu-bi) and Seo Sae-i (Park Ji-hyun), help in their own ways to revive her love cells.

She remembers everything... except him. Yoomi is a sharp-minded game developer who speaks in technical jargon and thinks in algorithms. Yeongi is a painter who believes emotions can't be programmed. When their arranged marriage brings them together, their worlds collide in unexpected ways. But there's something odd-Yoomi keeps forgetting little things about Yeongi. His favorite color, the way they first met, even moments they've shared. For someone with a flawless memory, why does she struggle to remember *him*? As their lives intertwine, Yeongi must figure out if love can survive when the details keep slipping away. Love isn't always a smooth algorithm. It needs constant bug fixes!

However, Enzo's meddling are the least of her problems when her development with the game and Haru is going well...so far. Will Yomi be happy with an artificial love? Or will she continue to seek for more? A love story on loss, yearning, and growth, Yomi will have to decide which ending to finish in the game of love.
