After saving the strange people who for some reason did not realize the situation they were in, y/n decided to bring them to her place. After exploring more and more areas in search of her family y/n just kept on finding more strange people!

After scouring Wattpad and finding myself dissatisfied with the DbD fanfictions on here, many of which focused solely on one-shots or romance, I decided to sit down and create my own! This is going to be an extensive self-insertion story that focuses on character interaction and development, rather than focusing on romance or... well, you know where I was going. Before you read... - There is going to be very little romance in this, so don't get your hopes up! There may occasionally be some implied attraction between female survivors (my lesbian ass may slip up haha), but it will never overshadow the story. - Y/N is very rarely going to be used as a way to refer to the reader. In celebration of DONTNOD's latest game VAMPYR, this story has been written to include a new character of my own making, but hopefully in line with the story they offer. Some have claimed that these daywalkers are potent bounty hunters to the supernatural, or even guards to royalty past. Neither of these are the full truth. Alessandria Jol'vora is a Spaniard who is known throughout the entire supernatural lands as a fierce fighter, a force not to be reckoned with-and the only Dhampir of her generation. With many years of training under her belt, Alessandria is an ideal operative during the Great War. Fast, loyal and capable Alessandria saves a doctor on the field inadvertently striking up a friendship with him that was supposed to be broken once they parted ways in 1918. That is until that same doctor is turned into a vampire when he's supposed to return home. However, there is much more to be told beforehand so you, the reader, can understand what the stakes are in this strange and dangerous supernatural world. This is Alessandria's story.
