After watching the series finale of Game of Thrones, I couldn't help but feel a little.. underwhelmed. This is my shot at what I deem to be a better ending for the saga.

Brienne has fulfilled her promise; she has returned Jaime Lannister safely to King's Landing. Once their endeavours on the road together are over, what will become of their friendship, and anything else blossoming between them? With Cersei watching like a predator stalking its prey, Brienne doesn't feel safe. Out of her depth, she has yet to experience the games that are played in the Capital, ones that swords and strength cannot defeat. Rhaego didn't die. Curses and prophecies aside, our dragon babies were still hatched in Drogo's funeral pyre.... Basically, everything in this story is the same as how it happened in the show, except for the fact that Daenerys had her son along with her for the ride. Mostly anyway. I mean, it's not like he tagged along when she flew off on Drogon and was captured by the Dothraki. Other characters dead in the show may also show up eventually too... I'm not entirely sure of how quick/slow time passes in the show, so I made Rhaego be five (almost) at the beginning of this story, even though it starts at the beginning of season 7. This is my first GoT story. Ever since that horrid final season, I couldn't just let my ideas sit in a folder on my laptop. I've had sooo many ideas since season 7. This is only one of them. I'm simultaneously writing like five different stories at once. For now though, this will be the only one I will publish, since it's the first idea I had and the one I've written the most for. The others will come eventually. I just want to add more to them all first. I hope you all like this. It's much more positive and lighthearted than what we've gotten from the show. It's sort of been my therapy. There will (hopefully) be weekly updates every Monday. If not, the latest will be every 2 weeks, but I'll make sure to let y'all know if there will be a delay longer than that. Josslyn always knew her father, Tywin would have her marry for political gain but when The King suggested she marry the stark air she did not think her father would allow it. Twyin knew there would be a day that King Robert and Ned would be gone and the Lannisters needed to secure an alliance so that in generations that followed the North would continue to be loyal to the throne and Joffrey. While the Starks knew what kind of people the Lannisters were Ned could not disobey The King so he had no choice but to agree.That's where Robb Stark and Josslyn Lannister come in. Their marriage will insure the Lannisters remain in power. Josslyn is the youngest of the four Lannister children and possibly the kindest. This is her journey of making her way through the Game of Thrones.
