Sora, who was 15 the upcoming summer actually watched the movie when it launched, and she was OBSESSED! That made her want to commit to something. Singing. But where shall she start? She had one option. Either join one of those KPOP survival shows or hope to be accepted into one of those top of the score idol schools. Even though her great nan had Korean heritage, she isn't really Korean and doesn't know Korean, so she wouldn't be able to commit to KPOP. That's when fate changed.
