Shadows don't have red eyes, nor do ghosts. That should have been my first, my only hint. The water temple was hellish. No, not the volcano based fire temple, or even the illusion filled shadow temple came anywhere close to the trials faced beneath the waters' surface. I dread to retell the story of my untimely visit. But there is one thing. I had assumed the room of illusions there was Gannon's doing. That he had cast the spell over the room, and created a shadowy version of me. I can remember the fight like it was just yesterday; the way each touch of his chilled me to the bone, and the way his red eyes gleamed hatred and knocked me down. Walking in there I felt like a hero doing his duty; and yet walking out I felt like a boy stripped of everything; a thief. I dubbed him Dark Link, Just as Navi had done, and yet the name Dark doesn't fit the man I met in there that day. He shone brighter than the sacred golden light. I know there is more to his story than just a mindless minion, but how am I to figure it out?

100 years ago on princess Zelda's 17 birthday the calamity rose. You link and the princess had went to go to Hyrule castle but instead went to fort Hateno. Too many guardian's attacked the fort which you had killed too many. you were weak, but that didn't stop you. One about hit link straight in the chest but Zelda had the courage to go in front of him and unleash her power. The power that she could not waken all these years. You had then passed out, nearly dead.

Can't say to much here so please read. It was after Ocarina of time in a new time line one where link and the sages sealed ganondorf but link was never transported home. Making a rift between time. Which Gannon broke out of but wait that's not Gannon it's ............

"This is what you are, no matter how hard you try. You will never be good. Its best to just end your toxic nightmare."

Link is captured by Gannondorf...and basically is tortured. No, it's not that bad, I'm not a fan of the gruesome stuff, but it's basically torture-ish stuff. ... hope you like? :-)

" Don't you ever get tired of being evil?! Being the villain that everybody hates?!" Link asked. " Yes...." Gannon replied. " But, why?!" Link questioned, still confused. " Because I wanted you to notice me!!!" Gannon roared with a tear rolling down his cheek.

Link and Zelda Are growing up and moving on to new things in life. 16 years later Zelda is in turmoil. Life after link beat Gannondorf was not how she expected it to be, it has been wonderful for 16 not so peaceful years. But something happened to Link when he left to draw the master sword again, and now he is in a coma and won't wake up. An unknown evil rises and hurts the people and loved ones of Zelda. But because evil has risen so does a new hero, he has the task of waking his father and saving his mother and all of Hyrule. all for the sake of a soul. As well as end the countless wars that plague Hyrule these days. our new hero and his companion strive to complete all of this before the fate of Hyrule can be sealed and this time it could be for the worst. ( Note I don't own the cover art. I just borrowed a lovely BOTW image off the internet. Even though this is a Twilight princess story the image fits Thanks for reading my story i might actually finish it within my lifetime if I can sit down and write ^^ )
