Ganondorf x reader (Beauty and the Beast Au) This book is inspired of a book with the same Au! I absolutely fell in love with the concept and the story that I decided I should make my own version! My inspiration from The-Proxie on Quotev and Tumblr. I'll of course have my story go a bit differently than theirs! Hope you enjoy!

SEQUEL TO A TIMELESS BALLAD. As the Guardian of Hylia, you have always guarded and protected the people of Hyrule since Demise's imprisonment. You lived in peace with your beloved husband in the Gerudo Desert that is until tragedy struck. A great flood had covered the precious land of Hyrule and all at the will of the gods. During this Great Flood, you desperately fought to rescue your husband using the Triforce of Courage. As he was spared by the golden light you were swept away amongst the raging waves. Centuries passed and you awaken to find yourself in an unknown forest being tended to by a Great Fairy. This Great Fairy introduces you to the people of Outset Island where you now dwell with no recollections of your life before. Instead, you watch over the inhabitants always feeling a deep longing in your heart. All of this changes however when a young girl named Aryll is kidnapped and her elder brother Link comes to you for aid.

You wanted adventure. You chased after it. Little did you know the things that would come with a taste of adventure.

Whether it is skyward bound, adrift in time, steeped in the glowing embers of twilight, or avenging the rotting ruins of a once prosperous kingdom, there is always the spirit of the hero, the bloodline of the goddess, the incarnation of Demise's hatred, and the cursed one known as (Name). When the three Golden Goddesses created all of hylian history and culture, they gave you a "special gift" but to you it was a curse. In each life, you and the hero were destined to be together but something would away get in the way. Either he loved someone more than he loved you or you were killed before you two could be together. You hated the fate the goddesses subjected you to, but you would try to change your fate in every life.

This is a sequel to the story: "Power and Darkness" so if you haven't read that yet I encourage you to do so. The original's plot is crucial in understanding this story's plot. Many years after the death of (Y/n) (M/n) Hyrule Dragmire, her husband was still full of remorse, regret, sadness, and a lust for revenge. His heart was full of a lust for more power and revenge but he still cherished some things. Some things kept him from slipping into madness. He still had someone he loved... His daughter, Aurane. Can Ganondorf achieve his goal of bringing back his late wife?

You serve Ganondorf as a companion bringing you close to his heart. Upon a cruel twist of fate, the Master Sword chooses you as the Hero of Time. You must now embark on a dangerous quest to gather the Sages and save Hyrule from Ganondorf's rule. Will you be able to save your beloved King or will you be doomed to cast him into the darkness? GENDER NEUTRAL many years into the future, hyrule's technology has begun to advance and evolve past its magical roots with small traces of it left in every day life. yet its never-ending cycle still continues. ganondorf is back, plotting to conquer hyrule and begin a new era. the princess and her best friend that is the supposed hero are about to catch wind of his plan. but someone else has come into question. a person who has been beckoned by the darkness. but will things go as expected, or will they take a surprising turn? (this is heavily botw inspired but has some inspiration from several other games. it's meant to be its own timeline but u can think of it as whatever u want, and i wrote this before totk. enjoy!)
