A few months post-breakup with Beck, Jade falls for the lead singer of a punk rock garage band.

It's 2000 winter time in Detroit, Michigan and Jack White and Michaela are teenagers in love and have a garage rock band called the White Stripes with Jack singing and on guitar and occasionally piano when needed and Michaela strictly on drums. Jack is also working at his own upholstery shop Third Man Upholstery in a studio in Detroit. they are still in high school and Jack is the youngest of 10 in his family. Michaels comes from a slit dysfunctional household.

You left California five years ago when you were thirteen, you were best friends with Cameron, Dylan, Mason, and Ethan. You were especially close with Cameron since you two are the same age, your guys's parents would love to tease you guys and joke around about you two liking each other. Though after you left, you lost contact with them because your parents didn't know if you were ever gonna see them again. All The Young Punks is the beginning of an epic Punk journey that traverses the world. You cannot imagine it... but I could.

Patrick Barnett (vocals, guitar) met Leonard Gilmour (vocals, guitar) at a Big Thief showcase and bonded over an appreciation of Simon & Garfunkel, The Band, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, The Smiths, Silver Jews and Wilco The pair shared an apartment in Brooklyn, started to make music as a duo and calling themselves as The Wildflowers. Then, the duo expanded into a four-piece, with the Smith brothers, Jonathan Smith (bass, backing vocals) and Paul Smith (drums, percussion, backing vocals) who Patrick and Leonard met at the Blue Note club. Leonard recruited a music teacher named Ashkii Jones (piano, organ, backing vocals) and Jonathan recruited his friend, Gary Stevens (flutes, strings, pedal-steel guitar) which expanded the band into a six-piece. They played a style of indie rock influenced by folk and lo-fi music backed up with bittersweet poetic lyrics about mental health, romance and social issues. The band was described as "the sound of the generation".
