Jayden Hollens is your average seventeen year old girl. She has an amazing boyfriend, who, like her, is an Ice-one of the five elements on Planet 0715-H. She also has been cursed, through genetics, to have Gardner's disease-a disease so rare only approximately one in a hundred thousand Ices has it. Jaxx Perry also has this condition, and being the same age as her, goes through the treatment at the same time. He doesn't have a girlfriend, although he is mad crushing on a Fire, but makes do with his horse Winnie as his companion. As the two of them navigate competitions, hospital quarantines, and secrets, they're a lot more alike than it seems at the surface. ~~ "Then call me 'Freaky Country Boy'."
