Before the infamous Battle for Priestella could occur, the cast of Re:ZERO were indulging themselves in a nice and relaxing day in the city, eating delicious meals and enjoying the wonders that the Watergate City had to offer. However... Natsuki Subaru, a man of many titles-the Newest of Heroes, the Self-Proclaimed Knight, Emilia's Knight, and above all other titles, the Lolimancer-woke up to a strange feeling in a familiar room; his body was not responding the way it should, everything was taller than him, and... The mirror in the room showed a sight that shocked him. He was a child again, and he was in his childhood bedroom. Leaving the room and, for what seemed like forever, seeing his parent again, treating him like he was a child again, which... made sense given his current predicament, Subaru felt disturbed, afraid, and worst of all. Hopeless. His friends, his companions, his little spirit. His beloved Emilia. All gone. For weeks, he thought this was it, all gone away; his memories began getting blurry, his new childish body and mind unable to comprehend all that happened after he was transported to the other world. Was it all just... a dream? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Son, I know you've been down these past few weeks, and as your father, I'm ashamed to have my pride and joy in such a state, but I have an announcement for you... (Based off Re: Zero Season 2, Episode 7) Subaru is kidnapped by Garfiel. But why? Either because Garfiel mistakes his intentions, especially when he smells so much like a witch, or... is it something else he's after?

After having dealt with the challenges of the Pleiades watchtower, Natsuki Subaru is summoned by an unknown deity to help fix some worlds from the fallen Natsuki Subarus. It is up to him and his allies to help correct these worlds.

Garfiel Tinsel finds himself in a new world by unknown means, leading to him meeting the legendary Shield Hero, Naofumi. What does this meeting mean, and will they be able to help each other?

For Natsuki Subaru, it was the sum of experiences and events one accumulates, of the achievements attained, and of the bonds formed while growing up., That was precisely why Natsuki Subaru was the antithesis of life: a despicable, failed, petty, clumsy, stupid being... and an endless list of synonyms more. "Natsuki Subaru. You are an amazing guy, I sincerely know that, if it's you then it'll certainly be alright." So why was this man saying those beautiful words to him? Since arriving in that new world, all the people had seemed strange to him; there wasn't a single cliché he recognized. Even so, he wanted to understand why that man believed that a hopeless failure could be someone so incredible.
