September. A brand new year of high school. All Raven Roth wants is to back off. She wants to sink into the darkness, never to be heard of again. She wants to disappear. Everyone seems to think she's a new student. She's not. She's been at Murakami High School for two years. The only reason people are noticing her is because of a certain jokester she's often associated with. The one she was assigned to work with. She would let her guard down for him; but only a little. He tried to get closer to him, but she'd never let him. She knew he could, and would, get hurt. Garfield Logan has a ample amount of friends. Why would he ever need to expand? It's because of a stupid project and now he needed to work with the creepiest, scariest, most feared girl in school. He never wanted to meet this girl. He steered clear from her all he could, just like everyone else. Yet, something about her drew her closer to him. He wanted to figure out Raven. To unravel her like a ball of yarn. And maybe, just maybe, one day, he would.
