In the heat of the moment, when the whole mission seems to be coming apart at the seams, Lt. Garrison is the one who has to make the hard decisions. What's more important -- completing the mission or rescuing one of his men?

This first story in my "Garrison's Gorillas" universe is just a short piece, giving some insight into Garrison and his enigmatic scout and wheel man, Chief.

When a mission to rescue a captured Resistance leader goes sideways, Garrison, Chief and Casino end up with a reluctant hostage, who complicates their efforts to get out of occupied France alive. This takes place not long after the events in "The Fog of War", but it's not necessary to read that one first.
