If one was to stop in the midst of your crazy life, to pay attention to those around you, you might just realize that you were never alone in the first place. Sometimes it just takes a special person to make you realize that change isn't so bad, that you can also make a difference in someone's life. This book was inspired by the book The Reqhaim. An intense and heart wrenching story of nephilim children that form a society to hunt for their fathers. I put my own twist to the story so it's basically a fanfic

"Who the hell are you?", was the first sentence that slipped past her lips after opening her eyes and finding herself in the embrace of an unfamiliar man with a pair of ocean blue eyes and jet black locks, causing the room to be enveloped by an uncomfortable silence. Selene Silverstone couldn't recall anything after waking up in a room with four pairs of eyes set on her like she had just risen from death. She had completely no memories or even fragments of her life before she woke up. The fact that Dylan Windsword -the first person she laid her eyes on after her slumber- and the other three people in the room whom she knew each played prominent parts in her past were intending to keep her in the dark by refusing to blurt out any significant part of her past didn't help even a bit. Just when she thought that nothing could get any worse, she found herself holding the responsibility as the gatekeeper of the central gate- the main gate to the demon realm that held demons waiting to feast on everything within their reach-, an honorable position she knew she wasn't qualified at.

I guess we too, were children once.

*ON PAUSE* This book started as a short story and now well I thought I would continue it. This is my own and we had to create it with a prompt for a task. The first chapter was for the assignment but the rest I did out of choice. Just thought I would share it.

Xaiden woke up in a white room with a mysterious woman claiming that he was a survivor, one of the Kinetic, humans who developed less than normal control over the finer elements of time and space. The one catch to all this power, a girl, Aliyah, a fellow Kinetic tells him in secret, his life, thanks to the drug, now has an expiration date, 6 months. Now, many miles from home, can Xaiden stop the company from distributing the drug to other teens, Uncover the reason for its development, and still save his own life before he "expires"?
