For years, we Muggles have pondered over the missing parts of his story - his incredible, great (yet terrible) rise to power. Most intriguing are the events of his early life, both during his time in Hogwarts and after it. A boy who once roamed the halls of Hogwarts as just another wizard, new to the magical world and in absolute awe of it. His name was Tom Riddle. This is a mere attempt at filling in the missing chunks of his story, and it should be noted that whilst the events of this piece are not necessarily canon themselves, the vast majority of it is based in Harry Potter canon and Ancient Greek mythology. An approach similar to JKR's own approach whilst writing the main series was attempted, in-depth research being performed, and a story being curated that seemed to fit canon the best.
