You knew things wouldn't be easy, but catching feelings for your Uncle Hank's new android partner was DEFINITELY not what you expected. Note: non original characters mentioned in this piece are property of Quantic Dream/Sony Set in the Detroit: Become Human universe, this story will mostly adhere to the timeline presented in the game but some creative liberties will be taken to keep it spicy ~This is my first real attempt at writing a fanfic of any kind and it's definitely going to be an interesting experiment! Nines has never really celebrated Christmas before. Sure, he was activated in November of 2038 - he's seen a Christmas come to pass - but he's never celebrated the holiday. With conflicts brewing between his brothers, he doesn't know if there will be very much in the way of Christmas spirit in store for him this year. Gavin's family always holds an annual Christmas reunion in their hometown in Minnesota. With his mother's health on the decline, the Reed family doesn't know how many more Christmases she has left, meaning this year's holiday is especially important. Nearly every member of Gavin's lineage is going to be there - Hell, even Elijah found the time to come home, something he rarely ever does anymore. When Gavin invites Nines to come with him to Minnesota, Nines is eager to go. He's desperate to make a good impression, and hopefully help to mend his partner's decaying reputation within his family. He needs to prove a point, not just to Gavin's family, but to himself, that he deserves to be normal. That he deserves a domestic life, to be happy with a typical existence. To enjoy a normal Christmas holiday just like everyone else. Gavin is determined to prove to his family that he deserves to be here just as much as everyone else does - that he's not a disgrace to the Reed family name. He needs to prove that he can change, that he has changed, and that he's not the useless, hotheaded, alcoholic asshole that he was a few years ago.

RT1200, also called (Y/N). It's designing started ever since the first occurrences of deviancy amongst androids, programmed with a fully new software built with the purpose of immunity towards emulating human emotions. With a fully different software from any and all androids RT1200 is still in its beginning stage, with multiple new and better functions that will be tested through the android's mission's and evaluated on the failure or success of it. Judging the recent events of more prone deviancy amongst Detroit RT1200 must be sent to help the police department in hopes of proving new assets to be useful, and discovering if this new programmed software is indeed immune to deviancy.

As irritating as he is you slowly notice he's not as bad as everyone keeps saying. In fact he's actually kinda.... Frank is a detective for the Detroit Police Department. When androids begin deviating, she sympathizes with them and goes behind the backs of her fellow detectives by helping the deviants to hide. Things complicate when an android is sent in to investigate, and even more when he shows up at her house in the middle of the night unannounced, and even extra more when she starts to have feelings for him. This story is told through one shots cause I have ADHD and need to skip around a bit in order to stay interested in the story and eventually get my point across, even if the end result is some amalgamation pretending to be a coherent story. So good luck reading this mess. Jk, each chapter can probably be read as it's own story, if you're psycho and hate my writing.
