It's the first Christmas since the curse was broken. Knuckles is super excited to decorate the palace for the season. Yet Shadow forbids it breaking knuckles heart. Unknown to them a force is set out for Knuckles heart. Will this force tear them apart and will they celebrate Christmas?

A Dan and Phil Stranger Things AU. November third starts out normal for Dan. Dealing with oversleeping, dealing with people, dealing with school. But he does come across something strange in the woods -- a daffodil, in the time of year where the trees are bare and the grass is dead. The daffodil comes with a shadow of a human, someone who has piqued Dan's interest. This might be the strangest person he's ever known. I'm not sure what you expected. I have no plan for this story, which is probably a mistake. We'll just see where it goes. Not the same plotline as the show, but the same/similar elements.
