Summary
Reyansh Romano, the feared and untouchable head of one of Italy's most powerful mafia families, has one weakness-his parents. They are determined to see him married and settled, convinced that love will make him "less murderous and more human." Reyansh, who wants no such distraction, lies and tells them he already has a boyfriend. Unfortunately, instead of backing off, his delighted parents demand to meet this mysterious lover.
In desperation, Reyansh hires someone: a cute, soft-looking, hopelessly adorable Indian boy named Aarav Malhotra-sweet smile, big eyes, nervous energy, and a fragile vibe that screams "totally unsuitable mafia spouse." Reyansh's perfect plan: show parents a harmless cinnamon roll, let them disapprove, and escape marriage forever.
Except fate laughs.
His parents love Aarav. They adore the politeness, the quiet confidence beneath his innocence, the warmth in his eyes. They see exactly what Reyansh refuses to-the boy is not weak, just gentle... and dangerously perfect. Before Reyansh realizes what's happening, arrangements are made, blessings are received, and he is suddenly married.
Reyansh goes into the marriage with a plan: keep distance, keep control, and make sure Aarav understands it's only a contract.
But his first night plan collapses when Aarav casually drops the truth.
Reyansh tries to act cool: "Listen, kid. This marriage is just a contract. Don't take it seri-"
Aarav blinks, confused. "Kid? How old are you?"
"Twenty-nine, little one."
Aarav smiles. "I'm thirty-one, sweetheart. So sit down. Let the elder talk."
Mafia boss: shook. shattered. emotionally damaged.
Suddenly the "cute weak boy" isn't so weak. Aarav is older, smarter, sharper, and hiding secrets of his own. He can disarm mafia uncles with his humor, sip tea calmly while chaos erupts, and somehow terrifies Reyansh just by calling him "kiddo." Meanwhile, Reyansh finds himself accidentally falling-hard-for the man he never planned to keep.
