When Gerard was born, he couldn't see color. To him, everything was shades of dull grey and black. The burden of this hanging over his head like a sharpened blade, ready to fall. He never let his disbility control him though; in fact, he was headed to college to be an artist. He and his brother, Mikey, leave everything they know for college; a chance to be someone in the world. Of course, all is not as it seems when he meets a boy.
