"Uh, hi, I'm Lance, and-" He was interrupted by the theatre door squeaking open and slamming shut, as if it had been pushed with the force of a hurricane. Rapid, heavy footfalls came from backstage, sounding through the auditorium. Suddenly, a figure burst through the wings and onto the stage, heaving for breath, and looking like the human equivalent of a forest fire. Lance's eyes went wide and he forgot what he had been saying. Whoa. # Lance was going to play Sky Masterson in his school's production of Guys and Dolls. At least, he was going to until the new kid stole the role from him. He never counted on the new kid stealing his heart, too.

He looked out the hospital window, two birds were flying together. He couldn't help the smile that grew when he saw them build something so simple but also beautiful right before his eyes. The pair was creating a nest, their home, that would house babies, he couldn't help but think that, in a way, it also signified their relationship. Oh, how he wished he could have that with someone. But, alas, who would want a boy so broken and dulled, who would want a disgrace? Who, would want a killer, with blood on their hands? --------------------------------------------- Lance suffers from PTSD, a condition where something so traumatic causes anxiety, stress, or flashbacks. An abusive mother, a father who abandoned them, two siblings no one dares to speak of, and the disgrace of the family, will Lance McClain make it through his high school years alive? Also, not to mention one very pretty, very stunning, and artistic boy named Keith. With the help of his friends, Lance will learn to be himself, stand up for himself and others, and hopefully will ask the other boy out? Keith worries he's being biphobic to Lance, but it turns out he doesn't have any problem with Lance kissing guys if it's him he's kissing.

Lance just came back from break and now there's a new kid in his class that he accidentally falls in love with. Along with having to deal with his sexuality, he must deal with bullying and hateful/homophobic people.

Lance and Keith wake up captured on an unknown ship both injured.

Keith loves the rain and Lance hates it but can Keith change his mind? Note this is set in a time before cellphones.
