So since I suck at updating my stories, have this story I wrote for English. It has a stupid title. Veria Long is a simple 12-year-old trying to get through Grade 8 without a huge disaster. So far, it has been pretty easy, but then her friend Sofia asks her to do her Social Studies project for her, and various moral dilemmas happen.

He does take the offer though, and now is going to start at the same college as Skyler when the summer is over. Skyler had had feelings for his best friend, Nick Thrush, ever since sophomore year of high school. And to think they met because their parents were homophobes who thought their kids should be around like minded people. Skyler had cryed when Nick left for college. His parents thought nothing of it, Nick had been his best friend after all. Now he heard that Nick was moving back home to go to the same community college as Skyler, and he was ready to leap through the ceiling. When their medicine cat Oatfur received an omen, she is forced to decide between her religion and her family. What would you choose? ❧❧❧ I started conceptualizing Nectarsplash on November 27th, 2020. I created two character concepts for her before finalizing the design on December 22nd, 2020. Normally, I don't share my characters or stories. However, on November 29th, 2021, I introduced Oatfur, one of the characters who support Nectarsplash. I was surprised at how many people loved this character & the lore of the story, and people started to talk about what they'd do if they had to make these difficult decisions. From that day forward, I decided to dedicate myself to this project, and write about what it feels like to become so wrapped up in what other people want, you begin to lose that sense of who you truly want to be. I wanted to write a story that people can not only relate to but can use as a lens to understand what people like me have gone through. On November 8th, 2022, after two years of planning & conceptualizing, I started writing this novel. My goal is to finish this novel by the end of 2023 and eventually make this story into a webcomic. Upon being confronted with the illegallity of sorcery and the impossibility of using this power within the bound of the law, she chooses to run away with her girlfriend and live as a runaway picking up the other unjustly persecuted people they find on the way.
