Kaleb and Kato the blonde brown eraser twins often are acused of being models and are tested of their loyalty to the school when Kaleb is sent out on his first battle with escaped experiments or "the Flock".During this battle he nearly falls to his death but is saved by a small girl with blonde curls and angelic wings sensing his fear and reading his thoughts on how wrong he was to work for the school and the fear that they had his brother Kato.

Besides The Flock, there are two others who are just the same. But one reaches incredible strengths. Is she better then Max? Her name is Nova and they say she's better than Max, is it true? Shirayuki realizes they are hurt, so she immediately takes them under her care. Shirayuki later finds out that they have wings, and again, so do the other's. And, a certain someone falls in love with Max in the castle. But, can the other's help them in time? Will they be able to take their enemies on together? Max and the flock (excluding Dylan and Total) are settling down at Dr. Martinez's house. They just want to try a normal life, again, and see what comes out of it. They have tried, but things got in the way. They're trying to be more careful, of course at avoiding Erasers. That and also not letting their feathered secret come out. -------------------------------- This is before the flock's existence was public, as well as before they knew Dr. Martinez was Max's mom. (This story includes spoilers if you have not finished the last Maximum Ride book!) After the apocalypse, Max is in charge of the new world. Her job requires her to protect and rebuild a new world that will consist of mutants. Most of the humans have died off, or are dying. Max has to deal with a lot of hardships when being "Queen" (or as she calls it, "World Dictator"). This is the story after Nevermore.
