Things didn't turn out well, when the truth was exposed. Everyone turned their backs on him, he was soon arrested. He was supposed to be sent to one of the worst prisons but he escaped, a manhunt was issued on him. But little did he know that a certain Red Dragon was watching him and decided to help him. It's been ten years since the Locust horde emerged and began its attack on humanity. In the aftermath entire cities sink and millions die. Humanity now on the brink of extinction must do everything in there power just to see another day. Joseph Nyvar knows this all too well. As a sergeant in the COG(coalition of organized Governments) he fights the subterranean monsters known only as the locust every day, a fight that humanity seems to be losing. That is until he and his team Echo Squad are sent on a mission that may change the course of the war forever... (A brief side note. Gears of war as a series features some profanity which I have decided not to feature in this story. If that bothers you as a gears lover I understand but I ask you give the story a chance. If there are any fellow gear heads here please let me know what u think of the story.)

A gear "dies" when they finally end the 17 year locast war and finds himself in a new world woth crazy powers but with a weaker enemy than the grub

All she knows is the name she was given by those men in the white cloaks, and the fact that she has this robotic voice in her head. She also knows that she is more than half-robot now. Pushed into the world of the military, she finds herself fighting for a country she has no recollections of, only with the mindset and one given task: The task to kill.

The gears have broken down and the world changed.

Gwen finds herself on a plane flying to New York from London, not knowing that she is a part of an ancient society called the Clockwork Council that keep track of Time. Gwen is part of a guarding system along with two other guys ( past and future ). They both quickly attain feelings for Gwen, which is very dangerous. If their two time periods clash, then all time will be lost. So Gwen is stuck in the middle of this star crossed love triangle in which she doesn't know who to love back. Or to trust.

When Timothy Wicks is given a pocket watch by his Grandfather little did he know its secrets nor its power. When those who weild lightening come to attack his town will Timothy be the hero? The year is 2020 and electricity as we know it has been vanquished by humans whom have then had to rebuild their civilisation from methods of cogs and gears. In the town of Clockwork lies the story of betrayal, loss and an unlikey hero with an equally unlikey source of power.

Technology is a thing of the past. Everyone wants the past to come back.

A pair of siblings embark on a journey to reach a project fair that could end up resulting in a better life. Sailing on The Caroline, an airship captained by a flirtatious young man, the siblings are forced into committing a crime and praying that the authorities won't notice. The ending is a bit undecided, so lend me your thoughts on that when you reach it. **Note that there's only one chapter because this is a short story and chapters just wouldn't make sense**
