But halfway through the war the UIR was desperate to try and make new weapons to beat the COG and it was by chance and miracle that they captured the wolverine. The UIR had heard many stories about the savage creature and they had hundreds of dead soldiers to prove this and for over a year and a half they experimented on him, testing what his limits of healing were and through all the bullets, burns, and poisoning they found his healing factor was essentially limitless and a particular scientist he and ONLY he made a metal so dense it was virtually indestructible and he called it adimantium. they injected the super metal into directly into his skeleton and him even more dangerous than he was before and in a berserker rage he killed everyone within the base including the scientist and he went on with the COG to finish and win the pendulum wars along with other soldiers he considered to be his family and after the war he finally got a chance to breath and live in peace........until an even greater threat emerged.
