A concept for a version of the 1986 David Cronenberg body-horror masterpiece The Fly, which makes a massive alteration to the story that promises just as much body horror as the original - What if Veronica, instead of Seth, had gotten into the latter's telepod with that unnoticed fly and subsequently fused with the insect on a molecular level?

"You have a gift that no one understands. I need you to know that I left to protect you three and your mother. To find answers. To find out what we are. To find out why we're here. You may not understand now, but someday, you will thank me. I love you and I will return. -Daddy" That note is all my father left me and my two little sisters, Nora and Brighton. We can do things that other kids can't. But is it really a gift? Sometimes it feels more like a curse. I haven't seen my dad since I was four and I have to spend most of my time learning how to control my so-called gift. But everything's about to change for Scarlet, Nora, and Brighton.
