Being a matchmaking angel is pretty straightforward: get your assigned human, disguise as a human, find your assigned human, help them find their perfect match, go back home, await next assignment, repeat. There are only three rules: never get attached emotionally to your assigned human, never tell your assigned human that you're an angel, and never under ANY circumstances fall in love with your assigned human. Patrick Stump has been a matchmaking angel for a few years, and is good at what he does. He's matched hundreds of people up in his short career, and thinks he's immune to mistakes, but his latest assignment, a rock singer named Gerard Way, proves to be quite a difficult (and oddly intriguing) subject. Desperate to get the job done, he spends extensive time with Gerard, and as the new year rolls around, he realizes that maybe matchmaking isn't so straightforward.

Will he end up with the guy with the metallic strings? Or the guy with the red rose bush on the balcony? Things are all good; with Patrick impressing the teachers, Martin finally gathering the courage to make friends and Vaughn causing trouble in any way he can. But at the end of their first day, they meet the Way triplets: Gerard, Arthur and Jared Way, who aren't that excited to share a triplet pedestal with the new kids. They're going to do anything to make the Stumps transfer to another school. Of course, with the right amount of sass and a bunch of teenage kicks, the trio will not hesitate to put the Ways into their place. Maybe it goes a little too far and they begin to fall for one another.

Sometimes Patricia wishes that she could figure out what's wrong with her. Things are just bad and no one's even trying to understand what she's going through. But when someone actually tries to figure her out Patricia isn't really sure what to think. {FEM!GEETRICK} I suppose there are some trigger warnings: anxiety, self harm, depression, self hatred, abuse, things like that.

Food keeps disappearing at Patrick's house. It's not that big a deal, considering how rich they were but his parents still wanted to get to the bottom of it. Everyone swears that they didn't eat the food. One day, Patrick finds out that a homeless boy named Gerard, who is secretly living in the house, is the cause of these occurrences. Patrick doesn't tell anyone about Gerard because he feels bad for him. He helps Gerard in any way he can and it isn't long before the two become best friends.
