Sypnosis: SkekDurn, UrAzshar, SkekTael and UrIon have long, lived apart from the rest of their kin in the idyllic Gelfling fishing village of Seacliff enjoying the solitude and peace of living apart from their kin. They have lived there in peace alongside the Gelfling of the Village who consider themselves blessed by their presence. But when a dreametched petal drifts into the village and the arrival of some castaways the four friends suddenly come to realise that maybe fate has found them again. ** SkekDurn, UrAzshar, Skektael, and UrIon are my Dark Crystal inspired characters. In 1982, Jim Henson released a brilliant movie called the Dark Crystal, and more recently in 2019 The Jim Henson Company released a series called The Dark Crystal -Age of Resistance. I have long been a fan of the Dark Crystal and have written a number of fanfictions taken in the world it was set in not to mention made my own Dark Crystal inspired OC's. SkekDurn the Sorceror and his mystic Counterpart UrAzshar the Magician, and their friend SkekTael the Scout and his Mystic Counterpart UrIon the Cartographer. This was a fanfiction I wrote involving my own Dark Crystal OC's. In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, the most hated character is Seladon for many reasons. Is she absolutely irredeemable or a Gelfling who made forgivable mistakes? Spoilers for The Dark Crystal and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (obviously)

In an unrealized take on the continuance of Netflix's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, we see Rian and Deet continue to unite the Gelfling Clans against the Skeksis in a war to unite the Crystal Shard to the Dark Crystal and defeat the Skeksis. This story will aim to make sense an end to the Age of Resistance to the beginning of the story as we know it in The Dark Crystal. I hope you enjoy the story.

When single shines the triple sun, what was sundered and undone shall be whole, the two made one by Gelfling hand or else by none.... but.... what if it wasn't? What if Kira's death had been for nothing, and Jen had failed to heal the crystal? He still hasn't given up though. On the run from the wicked Skeksis, he, Auhgra, and Fizgig search for another means for restoring peace to Thra.

After the battle with the Skesis, Aughra sets out to find a creature that is not of her world to help win the up coming and terrible war that will happen. (The dark crystal does not belong to me, please support the official releases)

The Darkening has divided Thra and corrupted the land. Can 7 Gelfling heroes save Thra before its too late?

This Dark Crystal fanfiction was written for Flash Fiction Month 2025 and is set sometime in the Age of Power.

A fanfic based on Jim Henson's The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. (now on Netflix) I do not own any of the characters, except for my OC Ten. I love The Dark Crystal: AoR and I love writing, so enjoy the various characters you've met in the series, and enjoy the stories of what happened behind the series; hence the title: Behind the Resistance~

SkekVia the Gatherer is a member of th Skeksis Court, and a favorite of the Emperor SkekSo. But she is no ordinary Skeksis, but the first "light half" of her kind, one of the only Skeksis who ever loved Thra and its creatures. But when an injustice is done, and she is exiled, she must help rally the Gelfling, realize the Crystal's fate for her, and figure out love triangles. Can she figure out who she is, and help others find their "light"?

(Note: The plot and most of the characters in this story were created by me. The concepts of gelfling, Thra, Fireling, etc., all belong to the original creator and puppet master, Jim Henson. Everything else has been created from my imagination. This is also a SEQUEL to my first book "Beneath the Dark Crystal." If you haven't read that, I would HIGHLY suggest reading that first and then come back to this one.
