This a fanfiction flash fiction set within the Dark Crystal. It takes place during the late Age of Division with the Age of Resistance fated to begin a seeming handful of trine later. Merfid is a very young child in this one, learning to speak, perhaps about 2ish. She is not the young woman of the dawning of the Age of Resistance.

This was a short story submitted to the Dark Crystal author quest. It is written almost like a diary of a young Gelfling who lives within the Crystal sea. This is one of his many adventures.

SkekVia the Gatherer is a member of th Skeksis Court, and a favorite of the Emperor SkekSo. But she is no ordinary Skeksis, but the first "light half" of her kind, one of the only Skeksis who ever loved Thra and its creatures. But when an injustice is done, and she is exiled, she must help rally the Gelfling, realize the Crystal's fate for her, and figure out love triangles. Can she figure out who she is, and help others find their "light"?

Was getting kinda bored with wattpad so wanted to put my otp here. It might not be a lot, but I hope you enjoy reading about a weird/non cannon ship!

When single shines the triple sun, what was sundered and undone shall be whole, the two made one by Gelfling hand or else by none.... but.... what if it wasn't? What if Kira's death had been for nothing, and Jen had failed to heal the crystal? He still hasn't given up though. On the run from the wicked Skeksis, he, Auhgra, and Fizgig search for another means for restoring peace to Thra.

The problem was that it wasn't re-watched enough to be selected by the Crystal of Truth themselves. Now, chosen by the imprisoned Dark Crystal, one small fan of a canceled franchise series must save those in Thra before the end of the season. Wouldn't be so hard right? It should be the easiest thing yet. The issue? Well, during your mission, the Skeksis seem to learn bits of the small hero undercover every day. Little by little, even they would keep you there. Imprisoned and never to leave.

(Note: Everything in this story belongs to the original creators. I only own the character, Mavra. Everything else {including cover art} belongs to the original creators. This story is in the world of Thra and its characters are from the sequel comics to the original Dark Crystal Movie. If you're a fan of the Dark Crystal from the 80s or the new Netflix prequel of the Dark Crystal, I would highly recommend reading the comics as well! Now, onto the story.) Another world. Another time. Beyond the Age of wonder lived a thriving race--The Gelfling--ruled over by the wise Jen and gentle Kira, as well as their soft-spoken daughter, Mavra. But there is a sickness growing in the world of Thra. A sickness that no one thought would be brought back from the dead: the Blight. Now, it is up to Mavra and her friends, Kensho and Thurma, to restore the balance in her world and the world beneath hers.

After creating the Garthim, the Skeksis stopped at nothing to hunt down and eliminate all Gelfling for their essence. There was no more balance in the world of Thra; everything fell into chaos. Those few left all clung to hope.

Thra's closest creatures-the gelfling and fireling-are forgetting who they are and what they stand for. They break bonds and split ways, not realizing that both are one.
