To my dear parents, my cherished friends, to the one and only J.K. Rowling and her devoted fans, I humbly dedicate this new and unofficial sequel to the Harry Potter saga. The narrative remains true to the events of the seven beloved books (whilst borrowing certain elements from the cinematic adaptations) and presents itself as a direct continuation, set shortly after the legendary Battle of Hogwarts and before the epilogue of the seventh and final installment. The stage production "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," which delves into the evolution of the wizarding world many years later, has also been considered to a certain extent... May this tale transport you, as it has done for me, during these past five years of crafting. PS: Fear not, dear reader, for Harry shall successfully repair the watch gifted to him by Mrs. Weasley, during a certain mission in the land of Switzerland. PPS: And as for that infamous scar... Did anyone suggest it has fallen silent?

The school year 1898/99 promised to be the most remarkable one for young Albus Dumbledore for the infamous Triwizard Tournament was to be held between the most famous wizarding schools Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. His greatest aspiration had always been participating in the games-better yet, claiming victory. Such achievement would bring great honour to the Dumbledore name after his father had been confined to Askaban. Yet immediately upon entering Durmstrang, a fairly talented and rather handsome young wizard caught his interest; Gellert Grindelwald. Though, despite Gellert's troublesome reputation, Albus found himself intrigued by him all the same. A/n: English is not my mother tongue, and I find it fairly difficult to write in this old-fashioned language. The following chapters will therefore be composed in a more modern and simple way. Hope you don't mind.
