Glinda is trying her best to run Oz and Elphaba tries to find piece with her now-simple life, but something is... missing. And when Fiyero tells Elphaba she should return to Oz, everything changes.

Glinda would start as if from a frightful dream, and then nestle in nearer to Elphaba, who seemed at night never to sleep. In daytimes, however, in the long hours spent in poorly sprung carriages, Elphaba would nod off against Glinda's shoulder.
