Mostly @GordonStudios idea lol The story about an artificial sapphire that has the ability to control water because her gem has a lapis shard imbedded into it. She was accidentally created by a highly skilled and intelligent scientist. This story takes place in era 1. The diamonds wanted to make the more important and weaker gems (such as sapphires) stronger and or more durable. So they tell scientists to try fusing different gems to make better versions of those gems, by...breaking them...and putting them back together... resulting in "better" gems to be copied and re-grown
