I had this idea in my head for awhile..okay for a few months but I never got around to making it into a story. Here's a basically summary. Lapis gives birth to a baby malachite but due to all the things she's been through she abandons it. Due to feeling sorry for the poor gemlings peridot decides to to care of it.

This is a story of Garnet and how she's felt during the years of why she has never loved and why shes so cold and never shows emotion on the Crystal Gems. But what happens when she sees the mysterious Natalie ?Will she start having feelings again or will she turn colder than before?

As a cub, Lapis' parents had abandoned her and left her with Blue Diamond to turn her over to Yellow Diamond. As a cub, Jasper's sire had been shattered and now she was only left with her mother. Training cubs on Homeworld was lots of work and barely any of them survived. Soon, It was time for their training. The two cubs had other plans.
