I had this idea in my head for awhile..okay for a few months but I never got around to making it into a story. Here's a basically summary. Lapis gives birth to a baby malachite but due to all the things she's been through she abandons it. Due to feeling sorry for the poor gemlings peridot decides to to care of it.

Lapis is new to this whole "Crystal Gem thing" but with a new "friend" lapis thought life wouldn't get any worse untill the day here past comes back to haunt her. what will she do?what can she do? Peridot must help her new friend to forgive her past and move on but will it be as easy as peridot hopes? only time can tell
