"Tell me pearl, what exactly is a Steven?" White diamond is growing tired of her efforts. The other diamonds are too weak. Blue is growing attached to her human zoo, pink is nowhere to be found and yellow's temper keeps getting the best of her. Even worse, homeworld's greatest warriors are easily being beaten by "Stevens". She decides the only solution is to fight fire with fire...to fight half-gems with half-gems.

With his brother William now King in Kalvaria, Gideon sets out to help Kallach find out what is going wrong in Griffindom. As they dig through the clues, and begin to ask questions, the maze leads deeper into the unknown. Will whispers of Axtra's survival prove true or is there some other evil at the root of the unrest in Kallach's kingdom?

"I like you" he suddenly blurts out, making me snap my head to him so fast my neck almost cracked. "What?!" "No, I think I love you." he smiles warmly, facing me. His eyes held so many emotions in them. Love, lust, care, happiness, possessiveness, and one other thing I couldn't quite depict. "H-how?" I managed to squeak out. I'm not even sure if he heard me. He crackles "Are you seriously asking that?! I thought you'd say you love me too" he pouts, making him look much more adorable Oh, how I wanted to pinch his cheeks. Honestly, I didn't know what to say or how to respond. I just stayed there looking at the adorable red-eyed boy in front of me with my mouth agape. He chuckled softly and leaned in, closing the remaining space between us. The moment his lips met mine, a warm fuzzy feeling crept up in me, and a million butterflies in my stomach exploded all at once. I responded to his kiss with equal passion, and soon enough, the kiss turned ragged and needy. But yet something wasn't right. The more we kissed, the more I felt part of myself slipping away. It was like something was in control of me. I tried to push him away, but I couldn't; I was getting weaker and more numb now. That's when my eyes suddenly flung open, a burning sensation swarmed through my head and then I saw it. The dark aura around him. No! But it was too late now. He had fed enough and now he was gone. That's when I realized..... I hadn't any of the gems again
