Event Synopsis - Roots of the Web (Animal Man & Tarzan & The Green) Crossover The Anansiverse collides with the primal heartbeat of nature when The Green fractures. Poison Ivy, overtaken by the Emerald Blight, summons an army of plant-born villains to purge humanity. From the Congo to Gotham, the balance of life tilts toward extinction. Drawn out of time by the Web of Stories, Animal Man joins forces with Tarzan, Congorilla, and a new child of the Green, Shrubling, in a desperate struggle to heal Ivy and stop the rise of the Verdant Titan. With Mosi Carter watching from beyond, the heroes learn that every root-like every story-can either rot or be rewoven in the greatness.

The New Anansiverse Earth is stabilized but subtly altered by residual StillForce, Dream threads, and Hell authority. Cosmic disturbances from minor Durlan/Appellaxian incursions ripple through New Haven and connected worlds. Mosi functions as cosmic advisor, with indirect influence via the Dream Weavers, the StillForce Avatar (Deon), and subtle manipulations of narrative threads, while the League operates on the ground to protect Earth.

Synopsis: When the Dark Multiverse begins bleeding into multiple Earths, golden threads appear in the skies, signaling a crisis that threatens to unravel reality itself. Mosi Carter, the spider-god Kwaku Anansi, senses the disturbance and uses the Loom to summon heroes across timelines: Genesis 13's Project Genesis team, Aztek , Flash Beyond and allies, Static, and The Terrific's extraordinary team. As Paradox, a being warped by temporal corruption, and his lieutenant Pariah unleash waves of alien Gathers to hunt these heroes, worlds collide in a multiversal battle. Powers clash, time loops and dark energies threaten existence, and the Loom itself trembles. Through strategic teamwork, sacrifice, and the weaving of golden threads, the heroes stabilize the fraying realities, though Paradox escapes, leaving a lingering threat. In the aftermath, the Anansiverse remains fragile but alive, setting the stage for The Terrific's Season 3 and the continued spread of the Dark Multiverse. A post-credit tease hints at a mysterious new hero emerging - a primal force destined to tip the balance of the multiverse.

Opening Prologue - "Thirteen" The Loom of Stories stretches into infinity, each golden thread glowing with moments of heroism, tragedy, and choice. Mosi Carter, cloaked in his Kwaku Anansi regalia, walks among them. His gaze halts on a single fraying strand. On it, two figures - Burnout and Fairchild - both battered, bloodied, and moments from death. Their hands clutch one another in a broken battlefield, surrounded by fire and silence. A sharp pain jolts through Anansi's chest. Not his pain - theirs. A bond deeper than friendship, deeper than teammates - siblings. The number 13 blazes into the void above them. Mosi Carter (narration): "Some stories hurt when you touch them. This one... burns. But maybe... maybe this time the ending isn't theirs to write alone." He spins his hand over the dying scene, weaving a new golden thread into the tapestry. The blood fades, the battlefield dissolves - and the story rewinds to before it all went wrong. ⸻ Series Premise In this Anansiverse retelling, Genesis 13 follows the rise of the next generation of Gen-Active heroes - the children of the infamous Team 7. The Gen-Factor, a lethal biochemical forged from the DNA of cross-reality nomad Sigma, has turned them into living weapons. The government calls them subjects. The world calls them dangerous. But to each other, they are family. This timeline reshapes history: Burnout (Matthew Callahan) and Caitlin Fairchild are siblings - survivors of an escape from Project: Genesis. Unlike the original Wildstorm timeline, Anansi's thread alters key events: they escape together, discover other Gen-Actives before I.O. can hunt them down, and are united under a reluctant mentor - John Lynch.
